Description

A clearer website for a Libyan digital services company.

Context

Ebtekar Information Systems builds digital services in Libya, like VAS and SMS, carrier billing, USSD, online payments, and web and mobile apps. Its old website was hard to follow and barely mentioned the company's global side, so I redesigned it from the ground up.

Challenge

I started with an audit of the old website. Almost every part of it needed work:

  1. Layout and spacing that followed no grid.

  2. Typography that ignored the design system.

  3. A hero slider that took away the chance to grab attention.

  4. Long, robotic copy and inaccurate translation.

  5. Few testimonials, scattered projects, and the company's global side barely mentioned.

  6. Sub-pages that looked almost identical, and parts of the site that were hard to reach.

Process

I turned the audit into a plan and rebuilt the site step by step.

  1. Audit: listed what the old website got wrong, part by part.

  2. Moodboard: collected references for a calmer, more consistent look.

  3. Components: built the buttons, cards, icons and sections once, so every page uses the same parts.

  4. Pages: designed the home page, About, Services, a service page, Contact, Join Us and 404.

Solution

The new website tells Ebtekar's story in one clear path.

One headline, "Empowering Digital Possibilities", replaces the slider, and the partners who trust Ebtekar sit right under it.

The six services follow in one grid, then the company's achievements, its 20,000+ clients and their testimonials. The page ends with one simple way to get in touch.

Outcome

The new website is live at ebtekar.ly.

It also comes with a shared set of components and icons, so new pages follow the same rules as the rest of the site.
